Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon

Founded by Gregory Ahn and Jonathan White, Aviary Vineyards launched with the 2009 vintage of our Napa Valley Red Blend. That first vintage took advantage of tiny lots of different varieties from 13 different vineyards throughout Napa Valley. Much like an aviary, the blend of different grapes interacted and harmonized to create a wine that was beautiful, enjoyable, and captivating.

The 2018 Aviary California Cabernet Sauvignon, as in previous vintages, is developed to offer the classic big, rich, dark fruit Cabernet attributes, while also displaying our velvety smooth tannin structure, tempered by our consistent selection of oak. On the nose you will find generous blueberry fruit with a touch of crushed earth. The mid-pallet continues with dark fruit expressions of cassis, some red fruit in the form of subtle strawberry preserves, and just a touch of bright menthol or eucalyptus.

PAIR WITH: Any cut of steak or roasts, stands beautifully on its own as well.

100% hand-picked, this luminous cherry colored Malbec with pink hues offers a delicate first nose of red currant, minty blackberry leaves and tenuous smoky notes. Aromas of passion fruit, accompanied by gentle white pepper complete its cheerful bouquet. This is confirmed on the palate in a light bodied, silky wine with very delicate tannins, along with mango and crunchy plum notes. The Michlits family runs the Meinklang farm which is a wide and varied Demeter-certified agricultural operation cultivating a number of different crops as well as raising 300 Angus cattle. Varietals: Merlot, Pinot Noir

Produced from Merlot and Pinot Noir grapes. The vineyards are all located at the top of steep hills, exposed to the south, assuring excellent balance, sapidity and personality. A brief period of maceration gives the wine its slightly pink colour and determines the action of the aromatic varietal substances that bring out the grapes’ floral, fruity and surprisingly typical characteristics. The long and gradual fermentation cycle together with a sustained period in the presence of yeasts, both in the wine and during re-fermentation, confers delicacy and elegance on this cuvee and makes it persistent on the palate.
