From our friend and global wine expert Charles Antin comes his fourth vintage of our favorite California Pinot and Chardonnay. The philosophy at Canaille is "do one thing and do it well." As a Burgundy-phile, Charles makes just one Pinot Noir and one Chardonnay each year, selecting the best barrels from the best vineyards in the Santa Maria Valley. The idea is to create wines that can be opened on a Tuesday night with leftovers, or brought out for that hard-to-please wine geek friend of yours. Production is minuscule - only 3 barrels of each were bottled and we take it all.
